This Rosh Chodesh Kislev marks 12 years since the terror attack on the Mumbai Chabad House which took the lives of several Jews including shluchim Rabbi Gavriel and Rivki Holtzberg HY”D.
To commemorate the yahrzeit, a special Tanya printing was held in Afula’s iconic 770, also named Beis Gabi V’Rivki.
The Holtzberg’s son Moishy, who was miraculously saved during the attack, was in attendance together with his grandfather Rabbi Shimon Rosenberg. Also present were Harav Diskin, Rabbi Menachem Dov Dubrawski and Rabbi Shmuel David, Chief Rabbi of Afula. All the city’s shluchim joined the printing, as well as Rabbis Shlomo Segal and Chaim Sholom Segal.
The event culminated in a momentous and inspirational farbrengen led by Rabbi Dovid Nachshon, organizer of Israel’s mitzvah tank operations.
