Arriving from all around the world, Young Shluchim checked in and registered on Friday morning for the in person track of the Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchim of the Shluchim Office. 

On Friday morning, shluchim traveled to the Rebbe’s Ohel to daven and write panim reporting back to the Rebbe on their activities and asking for brachos for success. 

Final preparations were carried out at the Ohel to welcome the thousands of shluchim who will visit the Ohel on Friday morning following an immersive hachana. A Pan Kloli will be read on behalf of shluchim worldwide.

After a day of insightful workshops, the shluchim joined together for a “General Session,” an inspiring evening at the Bedford Armory, where they got to hear personal, moving stories from their fellow shluchim.

Thousands of shluchim gathered in the Bedford Armory for dinner and a general session, with addresses by Rabbis Nachum Goldshmid, Yisroel Wilhelm and Moshe Gourarie, who called to utilize the Hakhel year.

With the Kinus Hashluchim Underway, Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky announced the first 180 shipments of sefarim headed to Shluchim in need of a Jewish community library, with another 180 on the way.

After the first session of Kinus workshops, shluchim gathered for Mincha, followed by lunch, which quickly turned into tens of mini farbrengens.

Thousands of Shluchim started the day with Chassidus and shacharis at 770 Eastern Parkway, followed by breakfast and shlichus workshops and panels.

Shluchim joined workshops and lectures on a wide range of topics led by shluchim, rabanim and professionals that were offered throughout Thursday’s session of the kinus.

Classmates and staff of the Nigri Shluchim Online School joined together in Crown Heights for their annual reunion and Day of Celebration. 

Before joining their colleagues for a day of workshops and sessions, shluchim were treated to a lavish breakfast at the Oholei Torah Ballroom.

The Kinus Hashluchim 5783 began Wednesday evening with registration, dinner, and visits the Rebbe’s room at 770 Eastern Parkway, the Rebbe’s home on President Street and the Rebbe’s library.

Over the years, Shluchim have attended many a Kinus workshop led by fellow Shluchim, who share their vast reservoir of insights and experiences they’ve picked up along the way. Today, however, for the first time, Shluchim will hear from the other side…their supporters.

The International Conference of Shluchim began Wednesday with the first wave of Shluchim arriving into Crown Heights, where they registered and got a chance to participate in one of the 36 new Sifrei Torah.

As the International Kinus Hashluchim opens, the final list of recipients of new Sifrei Torah has been announced, representing twenty-four communities from all over the world.

Shluchim from over 100 countries began arriving in Crown Heights on Wednesday ahead of the annual Kinnus Hashluchim which begins on Thursday.
