The Boro Park Lubavitch community invites Anash to take part in a Siyum Sefer Torah this Sunday, dedicated l’ilui nishmas Reb Yoel Kahn a”h, the Rebbe’s chozer and a foundational teacher of Chassidus in our generation.

The event will begin at 3:30 PM at 1667 47th St, where the final letters will be written.

From there at 5:00 PM, the Torah will be brought in a joyous procession with music, dancing, through the streets of Boro Park, concluding at Bais Menachem on 16th Avenue & 48th Street. The celebration will continue with Hakafos and a Farbrengen.

Just days after Reb Yoel’s passing in 5781, the Shul members — made up primarily of Reb Yoel’s Mekuravim —  commissioned the writing of a Sefer Torah in his memory. Now, over three years later, that Torah is complete. It will be brought into Bais Menachem, the host to Reb Yoel’s Shiurim and Farbrengens for many years.

Due to time constraints, many printed invitations could not be delivered. This article serves as a personal and public invitation to all — your presence will bring great honor to Reb Yoel’s memory.

Whether you learned from him in person or were impacted by his teachings from afar, this is an opportunity to celebrate a life lived entirely for the Rebbe, for Chassidus, and for the truth of Torah.
