A group of colleagues and students of Reb Yoel Kahn visited his gravesite, just feet away from the Rebbe’s Ohel, on the occasion of his fifth yahrzeit.

As well, in connection with the yahrzeit, a previously unpublished letter from the Rebbe to Reb Yoel was released. Written on the occasion of Reb Yoel’s move to a new home, when he was just 33 years old, the Rebbe addresses him as “mechutoni” because of their family connection through marriage (Rebbetzin Kahn is the Rebbe’s second cousin, as her mother’s father and the Rebbe’s grandfather were brothers).
