Security Meeting Prepares for Cteen Shabbaton

In preparation for the 14th annual CTeen International Shabbaton, CTeen Headquarters has been working diligently alongside the NYPD to ensure a safe and enjoyable time for all.

The 14th annual CTeen International Shabbaton is less than two weeks away. On Shabbos Parshas Vayakhel, February 24 – 27, teens from around the world will spend an inspiring weekend together in Crown Heights, complete with the annual CTeen Jewish pride takeover of Times Square on Motzai Shabbos.

In preparation for the spectacular weekend, CTeen Headquarters has been working diligently alongside The New York Police Department, including the counter-terrorism unit, the 71st and 77th precinct, and the Patrol Borough Brooklyn South, to ensure a safe and enjoyable time for all.

“Security is always our highest priority. Our goal is to ensure that everyone in attendance feels safe on every corner of Crown Heights and throughout New York City,” shared Rabbi Mendel Kotlarsky, who sits on CTeen Executive committee. “Safety is the key element in making sure that the teens have the time of their lives.”
