Few organizations have seen growth as steady and inspiring as the Tiferes Zekeinim Levi Yitzchak network has experienced in recent years. The Rebbe’s vision of establishing kollelim for senior citizens, in honor of his father, Harav Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, has year after year become an unprecedented revolution, transforming the lives of seniors in communities across Eretz Yisroel and beyond.

The network’s founding in Eretz Yisroel in 5783 was a milestone. For the first time, a full professional system was created, giving every city and community everything needed to open a successful kollel: personal guidance, organizational and financial support, training for kollel directors, prepared learning materials, innovative shiur programs, and a complete framework to help each kollel grow and thrive for years to come.

The results were not long in coming. Dozens of new kollelim opened one after another, existing kollelim gained fresh momentum, and within a short time the network became the spiritual home of over 1,450 regular learners across the country. Wherever a kollel opened, it created a center of Torah and community, bringing real change to the lives of seniors.

But if the network’s early years were impressive, 5786 surpassed all expectations.

In a single year, the network took a dramatic leap forward. No fewer than 134 new branches opened within just a few months, a rare number for any educational or social organization. Participation nearly doubled, and today close to 3,000 senior citizens attend the kollelim across the country every day.

The growth has not remained only in Eretz Yisroel. Over the past year, the network expanded overseas as well, opening branches in Europe and the United States and laying the groundwork for broader international growth.

At the same time, new programs were launched, including the “Chochmas Nashim” initiative, a dedicated Torah framework for senior women, along with ongoing programs in nursing homes and assisted living facilities, bringing Torah to those who cannot make it to a kollel on their own.

The network’s branches cross communities and backgrounds, including Chassidim and Litvaks, Sephardim and Ashkenazim, and residents of cities, moshavim, and kibbutzim, representing every corner of the Jewish community and bringing together all parts of Klal Yisroel.
