Leading Rabbonim, Shluchim and dignitaries participated in writing the final letters in the 7th Children’s Sefer Torah completed on Chof Av, the yahrzeit of Harav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, father of the Rebbe.

Writing of the final letters took place in the historic Tzemach Tzedek Shul in Yerushalayim, where the Sifrei Torah are housed during the year. Distinguished guests included Chief Rabbi of Yerushalayim Shlomo Amar, Rabbi of Kosel Shmuel Rabinowitz, and members of Bein Din Rabbonei Chabad in Eretz Yisroel.

Chassidim from all over Eretz Yisroel and beyond joined the Hakafos with singing and dancing at the Kosel HaMaaravi in Yerushalayim.

Thousands of Chassidim around the world participated in the siyum through the live broadcast on Anash.org, fulfilling the Rebbe’s request at the farbrengen of 15th Menachem Av 5746, that “every chossid should take part in the completion, with his soul, his body, and his resources.”

The campaign to help support the siyum is live until Sunday night in New York. For a donation of approximately $55 (180 Shekel), you can receive a piece of cloth from the mantle of the Sefer Torah as a memento from the siyum.
