After a medical emergency on the way to Alma Ata, Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald was placed on a ventilator and sedated in Istanbul, Turkey. Today, he woke up and was able to communicate with his family.
Lubavitcher activist and philanthropist Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald was on his way to Alma Ata, Kazakhstan, for Chof Av, when he had a sudden complication and was taken into a hospital in Istanbul, Turkey, in critical condition, where he was placed on a ventilator and sedated.
Today, Rabbi Greenwald woke up and was able to converse with his family by phone. He expressed gratitude to the thousands who davened for his recovery and asked that everyone increase their Torah learning, tefilah, and tzedaka in the merit of his complete refuah.
Please continue to daven and add in mitzvos for his recovery. His name for Tehillim is Yosef Shlomo ben Risha. His kapitel is kapitel 38.
