Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar visited the residents of HASC Center’s Crown Heights group home on Monday, for a Rosh Chodesh Kislev gathering.

Rabbi Lazar, a dear friend of Camp HASC, was warmly welcomed by HASC Chairman Mr. Abe Eisner, CEO Mr. Shmiel Kahn, and Rabbi Berel Majesky, Director of the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn.

After a tour of the center, Rabbi Lazar sat down for a farbrengen in honor of Rosh Chodesh where he spoke about the importance of always being b’simcha, which is the theme of chodesh Kislev.

After some joyous niggunim, Rabbi Lazar gave a warm bracha to the home residents, and shared words of inspiration connected to the month of Kislev.
