Rabbi Lazar Heading Home for Shabbos

Chief Rabbi of Russia Rabbi Berel Lazar, who was hospitalized for the last week after being diagnosed with the Coronavirus, will be released home in time for Shabbos.

As reported earlier this week on Anash.org, the Head Shliach of Russia was admitted to a hospital last Shabbos after showing mild symptoms of Coronavirus.

The office of the Russian Chief Rabbinate said in a statement: “The Chief Rabbi of Russia Rabbi Berel Lazar, who was diagnosed with the Coronavirus, was released to his home today, after a few days in the Hospital. His office thanks the dedicated and attentive medical staff and all Jews of Russia, who davened for his recovery.”
