Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld who served as a close confidant of Rabbi Don Yoel Levy and worked together with him in OK Kosher, has been appointed as the rov of Beis Eliezer Yitzchak, where Rabbi Levy served for many years.
The board of the shul said that the shul was very close to Rabbi Levy’s heart and they want to ensure it continues in the path he set forth.
“We thank you for your Tefillos and good deeds done in the merit of our beloved Rov, Rabbi Don Yoel Levy a”h,” they wrote.
Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld, who worked alongside Rabbi Levy in the OK, was also a loyal attendee and gabbai at the Rabbi Levy’s shul for many years. He has invested immense personal effort in the operation and ruchnius atmosphere of the Shul, as well as spending countless hours maintaining the Shul and, at times, has acted as an interim Rabbi when Rabbi Levy was unavailable.
“We with Rabbi Weinfeld a lot of Hatzlocha in assuming his new position,” the board said.
