Rabbi Krinsky Pays Emotional Visit to Zhytomyr Orphans

During a visit to Eretz Yisroel, Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, paid an emotional visit to the Nes-Harim educational facility, currently hosting Jewish refugee children from the FJC’s ‘Alumim’ Children’s home and orphanage in Zhytomyr, Ukraine.

During a formal visit to Israel, the Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, the educational arm of the Chabad, Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, paid an exciting and emotional visit to the Nes-Harim educational facility, currently hosting Jewish refugee children from the FJC’s ‘Alumim’ Children’s home and orphanage in Zhytomyr, Ukraine.

Rabbi Krinsky was joined by Rabbis Yosef B. Friedman and Shmaya Krinsky, board member and executive director of the Machne Israel. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Rabbi Shlomo Wilhelm, Chief Rabbi of West Ukraine, the institution’s staff, nearly one hundred refugee children and additional Ukrainian rabbis now residing in Israel.

Addressing the children, Rabbi Krinsky spoke about their special mission to serve as shining examples during this challenging era and encouraged them to be hopeful and joyful.
