Rabbi Eli Rothman, Shliach and longtime educator in Pittsburgh, PA, and Morristown, NJ, passed away on Friday afternoon after battling an illness.
Rabbi Eli Rothman, Shliach and longtime educator in Pittsburgh, PA, and Morristown, NJ, passed away on Friday afternoon after battling an illness.
He was 75 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shulamis Rothman; and their children, Rabbi Yitzy Rothman – Johannesburg, South Africa; Mrs. Chaya Sara Mandel – Brooklyn, NY; Rabbi Chesky Rothman – Rockford, IL; Mrs. Peri Laber – Agoura Hills, CA; Rabbi Shmuly Rothman – Boynton Beach, FL; Mrs. Malkie Rothman – Brooklyn, NY; Rabbi Avremi Rothman – Bonifay, FL; Mrs. Faygie Simmonds; and Mrs. Chanie Chein – Brooklyn, NY; as well as grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
He is also survived by his sister, Mrs. Rhonda Schonberg – Potomac, MD.
The levaya will take place on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. near the Ohel.
Shiva will take place Sunday evening through Friday at The M@tch – 543 Albany Ave.
