Program Launched for Bochurim Spending Tishrei in Eretz Yisroel
With thousands of bochurim expected to remain in Eretz Yisroel this Tishrei, a new program is being launched to ensure that they too experience a meaningful and uplifting Chassidishe Tishrei of learning and farbrengens.
Every year, thousands of bochurim experience Tishrei in New York, traveling thousands of miles to be in the Rebbe’s daled amos during the Yomim Tovim. But there are also many bochurim who remain in Eretz Yisroel each year for a variety of reasons.
This year in particular, due to increasing army pressure and draft regulations, many bochurim are being forced to remain behind, creating a real need for a structured Chassidishe framework for these bochurim.
This year, for the first time, the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim Haolami, in partnership with the hanhalos of the yeshivos, has launched a comprehensive program for bochurim who will be spending the month of Tishrei in Eretz Yisroel.
The goal is to make Tishrei a month filled with hiskashrus, learning, farbrengens and Chassidishe chayus, even for those who cannot travel to the Rebbe.
The program includes daily learning tracks in Nigleh and Chassidus, tests, farbrengens, a special day of learning and inspiration, mivtzoim, and a system of scholarships and prizes worth hundreds of dollars.
A highlight will be a special day of learning during Tishrei, featuring farbrengens, learning and programs designed to bring participants into the atmosphere of the month and provide an uplifting Chassidishe experience.
