Preschool Directors to Explore the Relationships That Shape Chinuch
As Chabad preschool directors head to Atlanta for the annual Directors Recharge Retreat, excitement is building around a fresh focus on relationships in chinuch, dynamic workshops, and a new opportunity to tour three local preschools.
As Chabad Early Childhood gears up for its Annual Directors Recharge Retreat, set for April 26–28 in Atlanta, Georgia, excitement is building as the Shluchim Office unveils new details and inspiring enhancements to this year’s highly anticipated experience.
Every year, the Chabad Early Childhood retreat is a rejuvenating experience for preschool directors to learn, connect and recharge together. Chabad Early Childhood is the international network supporting Chabad preschools on Shlichus with curriculum resources, teacher training, and more.
The retreat will be hosted at Chabad Lubavitch of Georgia, with gratitude extended to Rabbi Yossi and Dassie New for hosting the program. The program will focus on connections whether that’s between Shluchos, to the Rebbe, and to the parents and children in their care, emphasizing the role these relationships play in effective leadership and impactful Chinuch.
The program will feature dynamic presentations on marketing strategies, classroom techniques, teacher engagement, and school development. In addition, a new and highly anticipated highlight will give each Shlucha the opportunity to visit three local preschools, offering in depth tours and a firsthand look at different environments and approaches.
“This brand new addition is highly requested from the Shluchos and has truly elevated the retreat,” shared Director Mrs. Rivky Baitelman. “It’s rare for the Directors to even visit another school, let alone have the opportunity for an in depth tour of three beautiful locations!”
The three day program begins Sunday, April 26 and concludes Tuesday, April 28. Sunday evening will include a special track open to preschool teachers, while Monday and Tuesday are reserved exclusively for directors.
Registration is open with a few open spots remaining. Rates are available for CEC members and non-members, with a special discounted rate offered to directors within their first five years of opening a preschool.
Registration is open at Shluchim.org/CECRetreat. Email [email protected] with any questions.
