Following a recent increase in COVID-19 infections in New York, the administration of Oholei Torah boys school announced that they will be strictly enforcing mask wearing in all divisions.

In a letter sent to parents, the administration said that they distributed a Oholei Torah mask with a lanyard string to each student, in addition to the mask given to them at the beginning of the school year.

“Going forward, every student in Pre-1A through Beis Medrash who enters the building must have a mask on them. Wearing the mask on a string makes it easy to have access to it all day,” they wrote.

The administration said that if student comes without a mask, a disposable mask will be given to him for a $2 charge.

They also requested that all parents to be wearing a mask when picking up and dropping off their sons.

“Please work with us in ensuring that the Yeshiva can stay open,” they said.
