Merced county, located in the central valley, is from the fastest growing county in California. Home to over 1,000 Jews, plus an estimated 300 Jewish students at the University and has many tourists that come to visit the nearby Yosemite National Park.

The Golombs will be providing Shabbos Meals, holiday programs, Torah classes and more, for the community, students on campus and tourists.

For over 30 years, Rabbi Levy and Chanie Zirkind of Fresno have been servicing the area. They are now excited to welcome the Golomb’s and establish a full time Chabad Center in Merced County.
