New Crown Heights Police Officers Receive Training on Judaism

13 new Police officers joining the 71st precinct in Crown Heights, visited 770 on Tuesday to receive training on the needs and concerns of the local Jewish community from Rabbi Yossi Rapp of ChabadAir.

13 new Police officers joining the 71st precinct in Crown Heights, visited 770 on Tuesday to receive training on the needs and concerns of the local Jewish community from Rabbi Yossi Rapp of ChabadAir.

The new officers learned about the basics of Judaism, such as Shabbos, Yom Tov, 770, Chabad, what may and may not be done on Shabbos, and other important issues.

The officers were also given tour of WLCC’s broadcast room by Rabbi Yonasan Hackner, who shared how the Rebbe’s influence was felt around the world.
