Hadassah Lebovic AH was a fun, loving, friendly, special 12 year old girl. She illuminated every room that she entered. Throughout her life she made a positive impact on all those who knew her.

Her tragic passing this week was a shock to all who knew her, and to the entire community of Crown Heights and anash around the world.

In an effort to find the light in this dark moment, her family and friends have announced a new initiative: a beautiful Mikvah to be built in Hadassah’s name.

The mikvah will be built in the Inner Circle bungalow colony in Loch Sheldrake, a hamlet in the Town of Fallsburg near Liberty, New York, for those spending the summer months in the Catskills.

The group of friends of the family and the Mikvah Hadassah Committee working on this project include Zalman Willhelm, Mendel Laine, Leibi Marazow and Tzemach Rosenfeld.

“We chose this undertaking of building a Mikvah of living, purifying waters, to reflect the pure, genuine soul of our beloved young Hadassah,” they shared. “With your help, may Mikvah Hadassah come to honor its namesake and serve the community in Liberty, NY for years to come.”

The committee asks all of the Lebovic’s family and friends to partake in this beautiful project by contributing generously at www.charidy.com/cmp/mikvahhadassah
