Names Accepted for Yom Kippur Davening in Chevron

Chabad of Chevron has a special offer for Anash.org readers: Send in your name, and they will daven for you on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the year, in Me’aras Hamachpela, the second holiest place in the world.

Chabad of Chevron is offering something special for Anash.org readers: Send in your name, and they will daven for you on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the year, in Me’aras Hamachpela, the burial place of the Avos and Imahos, second holiest place in the world.

Rabbi Mordechai Hellinger, shliach to Chevron, told Anash.org that Yom Kippur is an especially auspicious time for their ‘tefillah drive’.

“With all the times we mention in Yom Kippur davening about the Avos, such as “וזוכר חסדי אבות” זכור לנו ברית אבות” “הזכרתי את בריתי וכו”, it’s definitely a special time for davening near the Avos and Imahos.

“The drive is also to fill a void of all the masses (local and international) that usually visit Chevron during the months of Elul and Tishrei that were not able to come due to COVID-19,” he said.

The Shluchim will be davening daily in Chevron for each and every one of you. Please use the form in the attached link to send the names of you and your loved ones.

Chabad of Chevron is also holding a Yom Kippur appeal, to to connect with the Avos with tzedaka as well. While the tefillah drive is free of charge, any donation will be greatly appreciated.
