Mrs. Fraida Nathan, an active member of the Chabad community in Chicago who was known for helping many, among them countless expecting mothers, passed away on Motzei Shabbos.

Mrs. Fraida Nathan, an active member of the Chabad community in Chicago, passed away on Motzei Shabbos, 5 Cheshvan, 5783, after battling an illness in recent years.
Mrs. Nathan was known in the Chicago community for always extending herself to help another person. She also took an active role in the ‘In Shifra’s Arms’ organization, which provides counseling and resources to expecting Jewish mothers.
She is survived by her husband Yochanan Nathan and their childrenn Shimon Nathan, Rivka Nathan, Yosef (Tova) Nathan, Shneur (Stephanie) Nathan, and Elisheva (Aryeh) Polstein.
The levayah was held on Sunday at Ridgelawn Cemetary.
Shiva will be held at the Nathan residence at 2704 West Chase Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60645.
Shacharis will be held daily at 7:30 AM, mincha at 5:35 pm, and maaariv at 6:15 pm. The family asks for no visitors between 12-4 pm and after 9 pm.
