Mega Event to Feature One-Of-A-Kind Musical, Rebbe Exhibitions
A large-scale gathering taking place ahead of Gimmel Tammuz, will feature two unique exhibitions of the Rebbe, as well as a two-hour musical, featuring 100 voices and musicians performing authentic Chabad niggunim in arrangements produced exclusively for the event.
A large-scale Gimmel Tammuz gathering will take place on 26 Sivan, one week before Gimmel Tammuz, at Binyanei HaUma in Yerushalayim, bringing together Anash, bochurim, and mekuravim from across the country.
The massive event, arranged by Tzach of Eretz Yisroel, will begin with two unique exhibitions.
The first, titled “The Rebbe and the Kosel,” is an interactive complex exploring the Rebbe’s relationship with the Kosel, featuring a customized clicker trivia game and activities for the whole family.
The second is a first-of-its-kind exhibition about the Rebbe, the Torah he taught, and his global impact. It will be presented through a specially designed concept and featuring never-before-published materials being shown to the public for the first time.
The highlight of the event is a two-hour uninterrupted Seder Niggunim, featuring renowned conductor Rafi Biton alongside the “Kolot Min Hashamayim” Choir of Yerushalayim, and over 100 voices and musicians on one stage performing authentic Chabad niggunim in arrangements produced exclusively for the event.
Notably, the event will not include speeches or presentations. Instead, it will feature two hours of niggunim, ranging from slow and moving niggunim to upbeat and joyful ones.
“We made sure to create special content for the main program,” said Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Aharonov, chairman of Tzeirei Agudas Chabad. “The idea is to strengthen the hiskashrus to the Rebbe and fulfill the Rebbe’s request from the sicha of 28 Nissan 5751, to give thanks for the nissim we have witnessed.”
“It will be a chassidishe farbrengen, with song and simcha leading to actual dancing,” he added.
Following the main performance, a VIP tour will take participants through the Kosel tunnels into restricted areas not normally open to the public. Separate registration is required for this portion of the evening.
Organizers expressed hope that long before Gimmel Tammuz and the mega event, chassidim will be reunited with the Rebbe with Moshiach now.
