The 10th annual Menorah in the D will be taking place virtually this year and will be a beautiful 1.5 hour broadcast, including a concert by 8th Day band and a beautiful program lead by Rabbi Kasriel Shemtov.
The event will be hosted by Rabbi Yisroel Pinson and Bruce Schwartz, known as the “Detroit Ambassador”. The program will include the lighting of the 26 foot “Detroit Menorah”, greetings by many Detroit and Michigan politicians, a game show and much more.
While the event usually attracts 5,000 people from across metro Detroit to Campus Martius at the center of Downtown Detroit, this year, the event will be limited, but will be welcoming thousands more online. The concert will start at 5pm and the program will commence at 5:30, the event will stream on MenorahintheD.com and on Anash.org.
