Chabad of Ulster County, NY, is raising funds to finish the building of its mikvah which is already 95% complete.
Chabad of Ulster County, NY is in the midst of building a new mikvah which is 95% complete. At this time, organizers estimate the cost to be approximately $40,000 to completely finish the project.
Besides for servicing the local Jewish community in Kingston, which hasn’t had a mikvah in over 50 years, the local shluchim regularly receive calls from travelers, being just five minutes from Exit 19 on the NYS Thruway (I87).
Preparation rooms and the mikvah itself are almost finished. Final work needed includes the mikvah heater and filter, ventilation system, painting and landscaping.
Your donation will help the mikvah be completed within the next few weeks, so it can begin servicing a community that has needed it for so long. Dedication opportunities are still available.
Please donate at Finish the Mikvah.
