Kaddish Memorial Day Service Remembers Jewish Veterans

The Jewish War Veterans of Maryland and Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland-Chabad hosted a Kaddish Memorial Day Service at the Jewish Section in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, one of the only such ceremonies in the Nation.

The Jewish War Veterans of Maryland and Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland-Chabad (JUSA) hosted a Kaddish Memorial Day Service at the Jewish Section in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, one of the only such ceremonies in the Nation.

Over 50 veterans and community members attended the meaningful service led by Baltimore Shliach Rabbi Chesky Tenenbaum, director of Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland-Chabad and Chaplain of the Jewish War Veterans of Maryland.

The service started with the reading of the names of Jewish service members that lost their lives since 9/11 by JWV Maryland Free State Post 167 Commander Charles Sandler and Chaplain Charley Jay. It was followed by the Kaddish in memory of our fallen Veterans and heroes.
