As the school year came to a close, Ateres Chaya Mushka celebrated a series of joyful events.
The preschool class held a special Siddur party where the girls sang and danced with heartfelt joy and pure delight. The special moment of receiving the Siddur was incredibly emotional and touched everyone’s heart.
First grade marked their Chumash Party with inspiring songs, drama, and a special art project depicting the six days of creation. Grades 3 and 4 had a special Siyum, exploring the Rebbe’s campaigns and Mivtzoim through a scrapbook called “The Rebbe Book,” which deepened their connection to the Rebbe and Chassidus.
End-of-year celebrations for grades 5-7 emphasized joy, unity, and inclusion through creative skits and dances. Fifth graders shared an uplifting story of Reb Zusha and Reb Elimelech, teaching the power of finding happiness in all circumstances, while grades 6 and 7 highlighted the importance of respect and inclusion in their social-themed performances.
Shabbaton: “Light It Up”
The 6th-8th-grade students experienced an inspiring Shabbaton in Tannersville, NY, on Shabbos Parshas Behaaloscha. The theme, “Light It Up,” focused on igniting each other’s inner light through davening, farbrengens, games, singing, and a bonfire Melava Malka. The girls created the games, centerpieces, and meals, allowing each one to shine.
8th Grade Graduation
The 8th-grade graduation was a truly exciting and memorable event, centered around the Rebbe’s powerful message: “A graduation is the beginning of something higher.” In a warm and uplifting atmosphere, the celebration highlighted the unique strengths and talents of each student, leaving the girls inspired and energized to continue shining, growing, and embracing their Shlichus with renewed joy and strength. The students created a beautiful yearbook and custom sweaters and received unforgettable keepsakes that will stay with them forever.
The school’s new theme song and dance continue to echo in everyone’s hearts. The song reminds us all that we are daughters of the King, proudly walking in the path of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, with good Midos and יראת שמים, to bring Moshiach now.
