Hundreds of Shluchim, Anash, and bochurim spent an uplifting Shabbos near the tziyun of the Rebbe’s father in Alma Ata, Kazakhstan.
The Shabbos meals and accommodations were at the luxurious Rixos Hotel. Following the seuda, farbrengens were held with rabbonim and mashpiim, which continued into the wee hours of the night.
After Shabbos a lavish melava malka was held for all visitors with niggunim by R’ Yossi Cohen’s band and chazzan Berel Zucker.
Preparations are still ongoing to accommodate the hundreds more who will be arriving Sunday and Monday to visit the tziyun of Harav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson.
