But the Mikvah isn’t. The nearest Mikvah is approximately four hours away. For a Jewish family living in Southeast China, going to the Mikvah can mean a journey of up to 10 hours round trip — a trip that must be made again and again.

For some families, the distance creates a tremendous challenge. For others, it can make the mitzvah simply out of reach. But what if that could change?

Imagine a Jewish woman in Yiwu no longer having to plan an exhausting journey just to fulfill this essential mitzvah. Imagine a newly married couple knowing that there is a Mikvah within reach. And most importantly: One Mikvah can become a legacy that continues for generations. Years from now, Jewish families will walk through its doors without having to travel for hours. They may never know the names of the people who made it possible.

But they will live with the impact of what those people built. This Elul, build something that lasts. There are many ways to give charity.
