Veteran Lubavitch English editor, R’ Uri Kaploun, led an Elul farbrengen for members of the Mayan Menachem chabura for Chassidus in Yerushalayim.

The Mayan Menachem chabura caters to chassidishe bochurim learning in Yeshivas Mir, Brisk, and other yeshivos in Eretz Yisroel with American bochurim. Every night, members of the chabura gather to learn Chabad Chassidus from 9:30 until 11:30. On leil shishi, they learn the Rebbe’s sichos, finishing after midnight.

From time to time, especially on Yomei Dpagra, the chabura holds a farbrengen with a guest mashpia. The learning and farbrengens take place in the Chabad shul in the Beis Yisroel neighborhood.

This farbrengen was led by R’ Uri Kaploun of Yerushalayim. R’ Uri is well known for his voluminous output, having translated tens of volumes of Chassidus, including Likutei Diburim, sichos of the Rebbe, letters, and chassidishe stories.
