After a year of connecting with their classmates online, the 8th grade girls of the Nigri International Shluchim Online School joined together for an incredible graduation trip. The students who live on Shlichus all around the world, had a blast enjoying trips, inspiration and treasured time with their classmates.
“Thank you for giving the girls an amazing time,” wrote parent, Mrs. Maryashi Sternberg. “We appreciate all the time, energy, organization, planning, and more that you put in to make the trip so special for the girls!”
During their first day, the girls got to explore a Jewish escape room, climb a ropes course and have an exclusive paint night. They ended the evening with an inspiring Farbrengen, discussing navigating life on Shlichus.
The next day, the packed schedule included a trip to the Ohel, a picnic at Governors Island and bike riding. Each girl left the trip on an inspired high, filled with special memories of bonding with their Online School friends, and empowered as they go forward to the next stage of their learning.
“This trip was so much fun,” shared student Sara Tiechtel. “Thank you for all the arrangements, I had such a great time!”
The Nigri International Shluchim Online School is a project of the Shluchim Office.
