Students from the Beis Rivkah school in Kfar Chabad, under the leadership of Mrs. Bruria Holtzman, launched a bottle recycling campaign and raised enough money to purchase a beautiful pair of tefillin for a soldier.

Over the course of six months, the girls collected empty bottles, redeemed them one by one, and with the funds that gradually added up — purchased a pair of elegant, mehudar tefillin for a soldier. The entire project was carried out with a sense of shlichus and personal responsibility, under proper educational guidance.

As the initiative neared its completion, Rabbi Eliyahu Gutman paid a special visit to the school. During the visit, he spoke with the students in an organized and respectful setting, and shared with them the tremendous zechus they had earned through their efforts.

At the conclusion of the event, the tefillin were handed over to Rabbi Gutman by Mrs. Holtzman, to be delivered to the soldier.

Earlier today in the field, the tefillin were personally presented by the Ezer LaChayal team — Rabbi Yehuda Lachiani and Rabbi Itzik Beck, accompanied by dedicated volunteer Rabbi Moti Hazan.
