A weekly publication by brothers and Chabad historians Yisroel and Shlomo Barda contains historical Chabad documents about the Rebbeim and chassidim, as well as memoirs about them from both Chassidim and non-Chassidim.
Ginzaya is a specialized publication dedicated to sharing certificates and documents from the history of the Chabad movement and its branches. It features letters from Chabad Rebbes and their followers, as well as memoirs from both Chassidim and non-Chassidim, enriching our understanding of Chabad’s history and shedding new light on its past.
In Ginzaya, you will find both new and old documents—some previously unpublished and others that have been printed in various places and times but have since been buried under the flood of information. Some recent facsimiles included here are a list of distributions of funds in the Frierdiker Rebbe’s holy handwriting, letters from Rabbi Elye Chaim Altthoiz, a letter by Rabbi Yitzchak Aryeh Mandelbaum, a letter from R’ Dovber Reich, a receipt of Funds by the Vaad Horabbonim, and a letter by R’ Chonye Marozov.
Since its launch this past summer, Ginzaya has been released weekly and is distributed online. The issues are available here.
We request anyone with relevant materials, even if previously published, to share them with us. This will be a valuable contribution to the community. We also welcome comments and feedback. Please email us at: [email protected].
