From Créteil to the Rebbe’s Shul, Paris Marked Tisha B’Av

Across Paris and nearby Créteil, mispallelim read Eicha and recited kinos, including in the historic Zibetzen shul where the Rebbe davened during his years in the city.

Shuls and Chabad Houses across Paris and the surrounding area marked Tisha B’Av with tefillos, the reading of Megillas Eicha and the recitation of kinos.

At the Flandre Chabad House in Paris’s 19th arrondissement, led by Rabbi Daniel Gabay and Rabbi Mendel Lubetzky, mispallelim gathered to mourn the destruction of the two Batei Mikdash in Yerushalayim.

On Wednesday night, mispallelim gathered at the Créteil Chabad House, led by Rabbi Chaim Malul, for the opening tefillos of the fast, followed by Megillas Eicha and kinos.

Tisha B’Av tefillos were also held at the Beis Chaya Mushka shul in Paris under the leadership of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Azimov, the Rebbe’s head shliach to France.

At 17 Rue des Rosiers, mispallelim marked the fast in the historic Zibetzen shul, where the Rebbe davened during his years in Paris.

The tefillos were led by Rabbi Binyomin Engelberg and Rabbi Yosef Margui, together with Rabbi Eliyahu Edelman, Rabbi Eliezer Arnaud and Rabbi Fredj Zarbib, with Rabbi Azimov also in attendance.
