Following the successful renovation of the camp’s Hals Gym last summer, The Hershkowitz Foundation is once again making a major impact on Camp Emunah. This year, the Foundation has generously donated $100,000 to support the expansion of athletic and recreational programming across the campus.
The substantial contribution will go directly toward enhancing the camp experience with new sports facilities and activity campers across all camp emunah divisions. One of the cornerstone additions will be a brand-new turf field in Teen Camp, providing a high-quality, multi-sport surface that will host soccer, football, ultimate frisbee, and more.
“We were incredibly impressed with the transformation of Hals Gym last summer,” said a representative of The Hershkowitz Foundation. “Seeing how it elevated the energy and engagement of the campers when I visited Camp Emunah, it inspired us to think even bigger this year. We’re proud to support!
We have deep gratitude for the Foundation’s ongoing support and generosity said Rabbi Hanoch Hecht.
Construction on the new turf field is already underway and is expected to be completed in time for mid-summer activities.
Camp Emunah begins its 73rd summer this upcoming week.
