Students and friends joined a farbrengen in honor of the 60th birthday of Rabbi Noteh Shemtov, who serves as a mentor for many youth in the community.

Rabbi Shemtov spends many hours each week guiding teenagers from the Crown Heights community, helping them make the right choices during the crucial first years of adulthood. He also holds shiurim and programs for the teens, and is a much-beloved figure among them.

The farbrengen on Monday night, celebrating his 60th birthday, was joined by friends, family, and many of the teens who came to express their appreciation and admiration for all he does.
