He is survived by his wife Chana Faiga Abend and children Rabbi Aaron Abend, Sara Gruber, Perel Dena (Marga) Hochman, Aliza Blizinsky, Debbie Abend, and grandchildren.
The levaya will be held today at Shalom Cemetery in Sylmar California.
Rabbi Aaron Abend is sitting Shiva at his home, 12625 Hatteras St, North Hollywood, CA.
