Mrs. Henya Malka Zalmanov, matriarch to a large Lubavitch family who was active in N’Shei Chabad in Eretz Yisroel, passed away on Wednesday, 24 Shevat, 5782.
Mrs. Henya Malka Zalmanov, matriarch to a large Lubavitch family, passed away on Wednesday, 24 Shevat, 5782.
She was 95 years old.
Mrs. Zalmanov was active in N’Shei Chabad in Eretz Yisroel and educated thousands of students in the way of Torah. Together with her husband Rabbi Leibel Zalmanov a”h, they were one of the founders of the Chabad community in Bnei Brak.
She is survived by her children, Rabbi Eliezer Zalmanov – Crown Heights; Rabbi Shmulik Zalmanov – Kfar Chabad; Mrs. Chava Lider – Bnei Brak; Mrs. Devora Bloi – Yerushalayim; Mrs. Rochel Kesselman– Crown Heights, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The levaya was held today in Bnei Brak and burial in Tzfas.
