A Crown Heights Mitzava Tank made the trek down to Washington, DC to assist in the mass mivtza tefillin effort among the rally goers in Tuesday’s March for Israel on the National Mall.
The tank joined dozens of chassidim from NY and shluchim from across the country who arrived in Washington, DC where they manned tens of stands for tefillin and spread Yiddishkeit among the nearly 300,000 attending the rally.
Over 3,500 students from 86 campuses across North America and their campus Shluchim joined the rally. A special pre-march student event for 15,000+ students hosted by various partner student organizations, including Chabad on Campus International, took place at the National Mall, where students lay tefillin and connected with the shluchim.
