New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio advised people to “stay off the roads, stay off the streets and sidewalks and stay inside.”
Sanitation Commissioner Edward Grayson said that all of the city’s roads had been plowed at least once, but would remain treacherous for the remainder of the day.
