Crown Heights Women for the Safety and Integrity of Israel will host the 12th Shleimus HaAretz Conference this Sunday in Crown Heights, focusing on the Rebbe’s well-known position that protecting the security and integrity of Eretz Yisroel is a matter of pikuach nefesh.

The conference will take place on Sunday, June 14, Erev Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, at 2:00 PM at Juneberry Art Gallery, 1714 President Street in Crown Heights, and is open to the public.

This year’s featured speaker will be Yotam Eyal, CEO of the Legal Forum for Israel, a constitutional expert and legal commentator for Channel 14 in Eretz Yisroel. The Legal Forum was founded in 2004 in response to the Gush Katif expulsion, and today includes more than 400 volunteer attorneys working through legal channels on issues affecting the security and national interests of the Jewish people in Eretz Yisroel.

Among the Forum’s major efforts was the law passed in 2018 to offset the Palestinian Authority’s “pay to slay” payments to terrorists from tax and tariff funds collected by the State of Israel on the PA’s behalf. Organizers say the next step is to ensure that those funds are never returned to the PA, and are instead used to help victims of terror and their families recover and rebuild.

The program will also include a tour of Juneberry Gallery’s newest fine art exhibition, The Jewish American Experience in the Medina shel Chesed. Light refreshments will be served.
