Rabbi Shneur Zalman Feldman, 42, AH
Rabbi Shneur Zalman Feldman of Kfar Chabad, a rov, mechanech, and former Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Rishon LeZion, passed away on Shabbos, 28 Sivan, following a difficult illness.

He was 42.
Rabbi Feldman was born in Kfar Chabad on 14 Menachem Av 5745 to Rabbi Shlomo Chaim and Mrs. Miriam Reizel Feldman. His mother is the daughter of R’ Daniel Eliyahu Zaks, one of the original yoshvim of Kfar Chabad.
As a bochur, he learned in Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim in Tzfas. Ahead of the 5765 school year, he traveled to learn in the central Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim at 770 for his year of kvutza.
After a year of shlichus and receiving semicha, he married his wife, Miriam, daughter of R’ Yosef Yisroel Schneerson of Nachlas Har Chabad, in Iyar 5768.
Rabbi Feldman served as one of the rabbonim of Machon Halacha Chabad and Machon Semicha Lemaaseh. He founded halacha courses for yungeleit and baalei batim and directed the Kfar Chabad branch of the organization.
In 5779, he joined the staff of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim in Raanana. Ahead of Shnas Halimudim 5781, he was appointed Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Rishon Letzion, which was founded by his wife’s uncle, Rabbi Zalman Notik AH. He held the position until the yeshiva’s closure at the end of 5785. During this past year, he served as a mashiv in Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim in Netanya.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Miriam Feldman, and their eight young children.
He is also survived by his parents, Rabbi Shlomo Chaim and Mrs. Miriam Reizel Feldman.
His levaya was held on Motzei Shabbos, leaving from his parents’ home in Kfar Chabad, followed by kevura in the beis hachaim of Tzfas.
