Hundreds of Shluchim will gather on Sunday, the 4th of Tammuz, for a day-long conference on Mivtza Torah where they will learn, contemplate and share ideas on the Rebbe’s mandate to “conquer the world through Torah study.”

The conference, open to all shluchim free of charge, will include workshops and panel discussions on how to prepare and deliver classes, how to market educational events effectively, how to construct a robust adult educational program in your city, how to give successful online courses and the best ideas for educational events in the upcoming year of Hakhel.

“It is interesting to note that the Rebbe used the word “conquer” exclusively in the context of Mivtzah Torah,” said Rabbi Shmuly Karp, one of the event organizers at JLI. “It appears that the most effective way for shluchim to captivate their community is through Torah education. The key thing for shluchim to know is how.”

Presenters include master educators Rabbi Manis Friedman and Rabbi Shais Taub and marketing guru David Kaplan and 30 shluchim from across the globe. The conference will be addressed by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’Inyanei Chinuch and Chairman of JLI.

The conference will take place in Crown Heights at Oholei Torah from 11:00am to 5:00 pm and is coordinated by The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI), shluchim’s partners in Mivtza Torah.
