Chabad of Orange County, CA hosted an inspiring Shabbos for the Israeli community with special guest Rabbi Zushe Wolf, the director of JEM in Israel.
The Chabad house for Israelis located in Orange County, led by Shliach Rabbi Rafi Dadon, had a special Shabos with many events in honor of Gimmul Tammuz. The area is famous due to the many tourists who visit to go to the nearby Disney parks and beautiful coastal beaches.
Tens of attendees enjoyed the programs with special guest visitor, noted historian and director of JEM in Israel, Rabbi Zushe Wolf.
Over the course of the Shabbos, Rabbi Wolf gave over classes and Farbrenged until the wee hours of the morning. He gave an amazing class on Motzei Shabbos about the correspondence the Rebbe kept up with the security offices in Israel over the years. The lecture was accompanied by a media presentation which included interviews with former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, former president Shimon Peres, and army commander Ron Pekker.
At the conclusion of the event, which included many locals and surrounding Shluchim, the attendees sent in a pan to the Rebbe’s Ohel with all their names.
