The directors of New York’s Camp Emunah, currently in the Pocono Mountains due to NY State regulations, informed parents that they will be relocating again to Green Lane, Pennsylvania for the second session.
They informed the parents of the move in a letter sent out on Monday.
“We are breathing the pure, fresh air of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania and it is truly invigorating. We are inspired by the beautiful views, we are enjoying the grounds, the lake, and the great facilities. But we really miss our home in Camp Emunah, Greenfield Park,” said the letter, signed by Rebbetzin Chave Hecht.
The directors wrote that while their temporary home in Trout Lake has served them well, they will be moving to an even better, more spacious campsite, with more amenities, spacious bunks, two great pools, and even more exciting facilities.
“So, from Greenfield Park to Trout Lake, to Green Lane, Pennsylvania,” they wrote.
The new complex, located on the grounds of ‘Camp Green Lane’ will have enough room for all the Second Session campers, additional sports opportunities, and larger, airy bunks.
The move will be carried out in stages, starting on Tuesday and being completed on Thursday.
“You can be assured that all precautions will be followed, including special regulations to protect our children from the pandemic,” they wrote. “No need for any calls or emails. Everything is under complete control.”
