Baltimore Mesivta Marks Milestone as Founding Class Graduates
Mesivta Lubavitch of Baltimore recently released its annual group photo, reflecting another year of growth and accomplishment.
Since opening just a few years ago with 17 talmidim, the mesivta has grown to close to 50 bochurim and talmidei hashluchim. This year marked a significant milestone as the mesivta completed its first full cycle with all three shiurim, with its founding class now graduating and advancing to prominent yeshivos gedolos, including Brunoy, Oholei Torah, and yeshivos in Eretz Yisroel. To accommodate the yeshiva’s continued growth, a spacious new zal was constructed in the beginning of this past year, providing an expanded makom Torah for the growing student body.
The growth has been evident not only in enrollment, but in the yeshiva’s accomplishments as well. Throughout the year, the bochurim participated in special Mivtza Torah programs, with groups completing the entire masechtos of Bava Kama and Sukkah, while the overall level of learning continued to advance significantly in both quantity and quality. Equally noticeable is the yeshiva’s positive hashpa’ah on the talmidim, reflected in the beautiful atmosphere of tefillah throughout the week and in the many bochurim who devote extended time to davening b’avodah on Shabbosim.
The accomplishments reflected in this year’s group photo stand as a testament to the continued growth of Torah, avodah, and chassidishe values throughout the mesivta, as the bochurim continue to grow as chassidim, strengthening their Torah learning, avodas hatefillah, and hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
