This week, the talmidim hashluchim in the Chabad Yeshiva of Argentina organized an inspiring siyum and quiz on the entire Chelek Yud of Likkutei Sichos. The event was graced by the participation of the yeshiva’s hanhala—Rabbi Elimelech Raichik, Rabbi Asher Farkash, and Rabbi Shmuel Schtroks.
In an extraordinary demonstration of dedication and knowledge, 12 Bochurim were tested in the Chidon Chelek Yud, confidently answering questions from the entirety of the Chelek.
Nearly three months ago, the Bochurim of Yeshiva Gedolah in Argentina embarked on an ambitious journey to master Likkutei Sichos Chelek Yud. Each week, they were tested on three Sichos, with monthly tests covering all the Sichos learned over the month. The Mivtza, organized and led by the Talmidim Hashluchim, kept the participants motivated with weekly raffles and other rewards.
The Mivtza culminated on Sunday night with a comprehensive written test on the entire Chelek. The tests were promptly graded, and 12 Bochurim were selected to advance to the next stage: the Chidon.
On Monday night, the Anash community of Buenos Aires gathered in the newly built Cheder to witness this remarkable event. After an opening address by Rabbi Eli Raichik, the Chidon began. The Bochurim answered specially prepared questions spanning the entire Chelek, demonstrating their vast and in-depth knowledge. Rabbi Osher Farkash, Rabbi Eli Raichik, and Rabbi Shmuel Schtroks served as judges, carefully assessing the participants’ performance.
The evening concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes, followed by the announcement of the winner. Several members of the community shared that they themselves took inspiration from the dedication of the Bochurim.
The Bochurim are continuing to learn Chelek Yud Alef, with plans for this next stage underway.
