Shluchim to Ukraine Rabbi Chaim Levinson and Rabbi Levi Raices were greeted with joyous singing and dancing as they arrived at 770 after an arduous 5-day journey from their place of shlichus in Kharkov, Ukraine.
Their journey took them through Moldova, Romania, and Poland before finally arriving in New York. They plan to bentch gomel today in 770, thanking Hashem for saving their lives as they fled the bombardment in their hometown.
Yesterday, a busload of bochurim and dozens of anash made their way to JFK airport, where the crowd burst into song when the shluchim emerged, thanking Hashem for rescuing them while praying for the continued miracles for their fellow shluchim and Yidden in Ukraine.
