1,200 Students to Arrive in Crown Heights for Pegisha

The Chabad on Campus International student Pegisha-Shabbaton is underway with almost 1,200 students arriving in Crown Heights; Organizers warn of long lines at the Ohel on Sunday.

The Chabad on Campus International student Pegisha-Shabbaton is underway, with students coming in from around the world to spend Shabbos in Crown Heights.

Chabad on Campus would like to give a huge thank you to the hundreds of host families in the incredible Crown Heights community, who model Ahavas Yisroel and Hachnosas Orchim in the most gracious way possible to our students, providing sleeping accommodations and meals.

On Sunday, students will have a chance to visit and daven at the Rebbe’s Ohel. For many students, it is the highlight of the trip and inspires them to return to campus as stronger, empowered Jews.

Note from organizers: If you plan on visiting the Ohel this Sunday, October 29, between 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., you may experience long lines.

Thank you for understanding and being so welcoming to our future Jewish leaders.
