On Motzei Shabbos, hundreds of Tzfas Anash and bochurim gathered for a central Chassidishe farbrengen for Gimmel Tammuz, where they heard heartfelt words from rabbonim, shluchim, and local community leaders.
The evening opened with a video of the Rebbe’s Dvar Malchus. Tzfas Mayor R’ Yosef Chaim Kakon spoke about the deep connection every Jew feels with the Rebbe, and how his far-reaching vision remains clear today, most recently seen in the miracles surrounding the Iranian threat.
Rabbi Chaim Bazak, Av Beis Din of Tzfas, spoke about the lasting impact of the Rebbe’s work, which continues to grow day by day. Chabad’s Mara D’Asra in Tzfas, Rabbi Mordechai Bistritzky, called on participants to strengthen their commitment to the Rebbe’s teachings and directives, especially on this meaningful day.
Rabbi Yaakov Raices, Rav of Yesod HaMaaleh and local shliach, delivered a lengthy talk on the Rebbe’s pressing call to our generation – to do everything possible to bring Moshiach.
Rabbi Dovid Ze’ev Reich of the Sanz community shared personal memories of his father’s connection to Lubavitch and expressed deep admiration for the devotion and selflessness Chassidim continue to show toward the Rebbe, even after more than thirty years.
Many of the city’s shluchim and rabbonim were in attendance. After the official part of the farbrengen concluded with heartfelt niggunim, the crowd continued farbrenging late into the night.
