In fulfillment of the Rebbe’s oft-repeated call to hold Kinusei Torah during Yom Tov, a grand Kinus Torah is taking place today, Tuesday, the first day of Chol Hamoed Pesach, in the heart of Crown Heights.
In fulfillment of the Rebbe’s oft-repeated call to hold Kinusei Torah during Yom Tov, a grand Kinus Torah is taking place today, Tuesday, the first day of Chol Hamoed Pesach, in the heart of Crown Heights.
The gathering is being held at Kollel Menachem, located at 1483 Union Street, corner Kingston Avenue. The program began with Mincha at 7:15 PM, followed by a series of Torah presentations from prominent maggidei shiurim and mashpi’im.
Speakers include:
Rabbi Kuti Feldman, Rosh Mesivta at the central Tomchei Temimim 770 and mashpia at Yeshivas Oholei Torah, who will share insights from the Rebbe.
Rabbi Shalom Ber Levine, director of Agudas Chassidei Chabad Library, about the age of bar mitzvah.
Rabbi Dovid Dubov, editor of the Yalkut Levi Yitzchok al HaTorah series, who will present a wondrous explanation from the Rebbe’s father, Harav Levi Yitzchok, on the simanim of kosher fish and on Kapitel 124 in Tehillim.
Maariv will follow at 8:30 PM.
In connection with the auspicious day of Chai Nissan—the birthday of Harav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, father of the Rebbe, and the bris of the Rebbe himself—there will be a special farbrengen led by Rabbi Berl Korf, mashpia at Beis Medrash Oholei Torah.
Anash, bochurim and guests are encouraged to participate in this uplifting gathering of Torah and chassidus, in the true spirit of Yom Tov and hiskashrus.
The Kinus is being arranged by the Vaad HaMosifin, and is dedicated l’iluy nishmas Harav Menachem Mendel a”h ben yblcht”a Yehuda, on the occasion of his yahrtzeit, 18 Nissan, and l’iluy nishmas R’ Betzalel ben R’ Simon a”h.
